On Wednesday 10th Kevin Belcher organised the first Club Scatter for many years. Seven crews turned out for a very enjoyable evening with the results throwing up some surprises.
The novice team of Tim and Mel Green took first place honours, but only just, with 160 points beating another novice team of Tom Horst with his late replacement driver Kieran Belcher by 5 points. Matt and Suze Endean were top experts in third place with 110 points.
Next came the surprise of the event with the very novice team of Poppy Delaporte and Steve Martins. Two new Club members on their first event taking fourth place scoring 85 points just beating by 5 points the expert team of Toni Dwornik and Brian Cammack.
Another expert team of Mark Nicoll and Dick Hall were another 10 points behind. The novice team of Carl Anderson and Paul Hart were not disgraced by coming home in seventh place.
Well done to all.
