On behalf of Colin, Shirley and myself thank you all for supporting our Autotest yesterday either as a competitor or marshal. Too many to mention individually but everyone made a huge effort in making the day the success it was, especially the timekeepers standing out in the sun all day.
My personal thanks go to Colin for all his work in designing and setting the tests and the physical effort of transporting the equipment.
Everyone we spoke to certainly appeared to be enjoying the event and I wanted to thank our regular friends for making the newcomers [of which there were many] very welcome and to this end I have copied in a WhatsApp message from Tom as several of you are not on the Clubs WhatsApp group. The other newcomers also commented during the day on the warm welcome and support they were given.
Congratulations to all the class winners and watching the scores between Bob, Jonathan and Jake swapping around all day was fascinating with Jake just pipping Bob for FTD by 1.6 seconds.

Next from me is the Clubs great appreciation to Tim and Matthew Green for use of the land. After cancelling last year due to the risk of fire with very dry conditions they would have been justified in doing so again but wanted to event to take place and made available extra precautions to minimise any risk.
